James Dann

James was born and raised in Christchurch, and the only time he's lived elsewhere was five years at Otago University. He's currently a PhD student at the University of Otago, Christchurch, working on endometrial cancer genetics. However, he finds plenty of time to engage in other activities including writing music and singing in a band, agitating about water issues, playing football in the Saturday league, and writing plenty of letters to the paper. James enjoys spending time debating all sorts of issues and is passionate about representing the people in the ward.
