    Glenn has worked as a Presbyterian Minister for 20 years. He has advocated for Social Housing tenants clean water and balance between city and ward bus needs.

    Brenda is truly a multi-cultural Kiwi and has lived in the ward for 23 years. She has pioneered programmes for low income people and wants a strong, safe and healthy community.

    Paul is a youth housing worker for an NGO. He believes we should be taking a community development approach to the rebuild and recovery.

    Phil has chaired the Community Board for the last three terms. Concerns are road safety, traffic flows, children's learning centres and reducing isolation for older people.

    Pauline has lived in St Albans for 22 years and was elected to the Shirley - Papanui Community Board in 2007, as a result of her successful stand on the Edgeware Pool closure.

    Jimmy works across many public and community services. He knows the area and is keen to engage people, improve safety and promote open and transparent decision making.

    karolin-potter-tKarolin is an educator in the Human Rights Commission and a JP. Concerns are gaps between those who have and do not and the environment.

    Phil has chaired the Community Board for the last three terms. Concerns are road safety, traffic flows, children's learning centres and reducing isolation for older people.

    Yani is one of the younger Councillors. He is committed to fighting hard for the values of openness, transparency and democracy around the Council.

    Julie is a Correspondence School liaison teacher and has served as a deputy and acting principal at a local school. She is proud to represent an area she has been part of for 40 years.

    Yani is one of the younger Councillors. He is committed to fighting hard for the values of openness, transparency and democracy around the Council.

    Judy is an experienced Community Board member for Riccarton - Wigram. She is involved in organisations for youth, education and the wider community.

    Tim BakerTim is known for his role on the Aranui Primary School board and has written four books on the area. Tim advocates for beautifying Christchurch and reducing tagging.

    Natalie has lived in the area for 41 years and worked for the District Health Board. She's been a committee member and chair of South Hornby School's Board of Trustees for 6 years.

    Paul is a youth housing worker for an NGO. He believes we should be taking a community development approach to the rebuild and recovery.

    karolin-potter-tHelene is a local resident and a speech therapist. She supports good, modern design, business activity and practical environmentalism. She opposes asset sales.

    Mike has served on the Community Board for 18 years. He has vast experience, knowledge and understanding of the ward. Mike enjoys finding practical solutions to issues.

Jimmy Chen, 2021 Candidate for Council and Community Board in Riccarton - Wigram.Jimmy works tirelessly across a number of roles across Christchurch public and community services. He is keen to engage people and hear their views and is familiar with local issues. Some priorities for Jimmy are to improve safety in the communities, promote cultural diversity and to be an advocate of promoting open and transparent governance in the Council’s decision making process and to provide better service to all residents in Christchurch.

Mike Mora, 2021 Candidate for Council and Community Board in Riccarton - Wigram.Mike is the current Chair of the Riccarton Wigram Community Board. He has served his community for 20 years at Community Board level so possesses vast experience, knowledge and understanding of the ward.  He has an in-depth knowledge of the issues that affect his ward and enjoys working on finding practical solutions.

A concern for Mike is to see the interests of the wards’ business community balanced with new and existing residential communities.

Natalie Bryden, 2021 Candidate for Community Board in Riccarton - Wigram.Natalie has lived in the Hei Hei/Hornby area for 41 years and is very active serving her local community including Chair of Wycola Plunket and coordinator of,Hei Hei Kindy. She’s been a committee member and chair of the board of trustees for South Hornby School for 6 years and Hornby Community Patrol Group and is currently District Representative for Canterbury Patrols representing at National Level.  She has undertaken a variety of jobs on the District Health Board in the aged health care sector.

Judy Kirk, 2021 Candidate for Community Board in Riccarton - Wigram.Judy chairs the Riccarton - Wigram Community Board's Community Services Committee. She is also involved in a number of other community organisations including chairing the Hornby Youth Committee. She works with dyslexic children and adults and is a keen promoter of education opportunities. Past leadership positions have included Te Kupenga O Aranui, Avonhead Plunket,  Inner Wheel Club of Avonhead and coach at Wharanui Swimming Club. Judy has also held national and local positions with SPELD, a charity that works with dyslexia.
